Jewish Orthodox weddings are truly incredible! From the Tish and the Bedeken, to the Ceremony and Reception, these traditions are all so 'awesome' to bare witness too. The beautiful Biltmore Hotel in downtown LA was the location of this joyous occasion, and with Ruchie Stillman and her team planning everything, this was sure to be a wonderful Simcha. It's always interesting covering a wedding with over 500 people and with very specific traditions happening at the same time, so we knew multiple cameras were imperative to capture everything. John Solano from John Solano Photography is one of the most incredible photographers I have had the pleasure to work with and I appreciate his team effort throughout the day. The flower decor on the beautiful Chuppah was supplied by LA Premiere, while the  well known and highly entertaining Neshoma Orchestra traveled in from New York. Both families were extremely helpful with every question I had, and I appreciate them choosing us to capture a most beautiful Simcha. Weddings are always so fun to experience because every single wedding is different than the rest. Every wedding seems to have a certain vibe that goes a long with it and Tristan and Katheryn's wedding was no different. They were so relaxed and so sweet to us that it made us all feel so special being a part of their wedding. You can see just how relaxed they were in the clip below. This edit is from our Silver Treatment package with a Stedicam addition. As you can see from the clip, the stedicam motion is so fluid and has a 'glide through the air' feeling, which adds a powerful cinematic effect. Another amazing experience and wedding. Bunny Gore, the catering manager and coordinator from the Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel on Wilshire Blvd, was so kind enough to recommend us to this joyous simcha. Every time we shoot at Sephardic, we are treated so well by her and the entire team, which makes it a pleasurable work environment. For this modern orthodox couple, we were delighted to be a part of the traditions that encompass an orthodox wedding. From the Tish and the Badekin, to the ceremony and incredible Horah, we captured all of the elements of a wonderful wedding. Robbie and the entire band from Spotlight Music of Beverly Hills put on an unforgettable Horah which lasted about 55 minutes! When I think of shooting the perfect wedding, it's one that is seaside and embodies fun and sun, like the one we shot with Revital and Mike at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA. Traveling from the east coast to marry in the midst of a gorgeous west coast sunset and a perfect ocean breeze, definitely made my job even more enjoyable. It is always a pleasure to blend the traditions of family, with the fun of a young couple who you can tell enjoys the company of one another. I couldn't help but capture the fun and energy of this couple with a song that has endless energy, and captures the essence of a couple who will promise to always be the best of friends. I know how much work went into this wedding and need to thank Revital's cousin Natalie, who assisted me with any questions I had throughout the entire process of the wedding. It was also great seeing all of the families who I have come to know throughout the years of covering their weddings and events. Enjoy Revital and Mike's wedding day highlights! An amazing experience and event. We had a few camera crews working different parts of the backstage show however my position was in the G Lounge, which is where the athletes and celebrities would go after the show was completed. Seeing many of the athletes is quite awesome. My camera crew was responsible for interviewing the athletes with their awards and discussing with our ESPN reporter how the experience of the ESPY's is for them. We interviewed many athletes but to name a few: Michael Phelps, Tim Tebow, Evander Holyfield, Landen Donovan, Shawn Johnson, Julius Erving. All in all it was a great experience and look forward to seeing the final result on Sunday night at 6 EST on ESPN. 

With great anticipation, I have been approaced to help shoot the Back Stage Party of the 2009 ESPY / ESPN awards on Wednesday evening.  The air date of the award show will be this Sunday evening at 6pm EST. Living within close proximity to Hollywood, I continue to stay close with my contacts and always enjoy working in the field whenever the opportunity arises.

Whenever you hear that a couple is getting married at the Bel Air Hotel in CA, you know that they, and all of their guests will be treated to something special. When you drive up the hill and finally see the hotel, it is quite, secluded, and just has an overall special feeling. Talla and Zsolt (Bobby) will be getting married there on July 25th 2009 and since spending time with them, I can tell it will be an amazing wedding. My good friend William, from William Innes Photography traditionally has an engagement session with the bride and groom (Williams pics of the session), and while I knew this, I felt it was important to also work with the couple before the wedding day. We decided that a Wedding Day Trailer would be created so all of the their family and guests could learn a little more about them before their special day. William and I took them around Hollywood and William knew exactly where we could find a dirty alley for an element of our shoot. While it looks dirty walking through, it works so well as a back drop for the effect we were trying to create. It was great spending the time with Talla, Zsolt and William, and I am very much looking forward to July 25th! Seeya then...

When television executives, Lisa and Chris, asked us to shoot their wedding, we knew that this was going to be a rare occasion. After all, how often can you pull TV guru's from behind the camera and put them at the focus of the lens?  When we discovered that the ceremony would be at Il Cielo, we knew this was going to be a special affair filled with emotion, as this location really sets the stage for intimacy and romance. We have shot at this beautiful location in the past and Fabio and his staff are always very helpful and treat all the guests in attendance and vendors working the events as if he personally invited them himself. We started and ended the day with Lisa, Chris, and their families at the Four Seasons and my favorite moments came watching them leave the hotel as individuals but return as husband and wife. It truly was a pleasure and honor to capture their wedding. Thanks to the entire video team for an amazing and seamless shoot. Enjoy!

WOW...what an amazing wedding! It was so unique and so full of love, that capturing these moments was an absolute pleasure. The planning that was put into this wedding was so unreal and so thought out, that we had to capture it with our Platinum edit in mind. Claire from Claire Barrett Photography was such a pleasure to work with and I hope to have more opportunities to work with her again in the future. The ever so important element of the lighting was designed by Brandon at Peterson Event Lighting, while DJ Lionel from Next Level Entertainment was so helpful in allowing us to obtain amazing sound quality for our video needs. Flower design was created by the talented Joey Corrigan from Sticks and Stones Floral Design. I also must thank Renatta from Vibiana, who helped us out tremendously throughout our planning process. I must also thank our entire video team who really put in a huge effort for the entire day. And last but not least, I would like to thank Ashley and Evan for being so amazing through the entire process, from beginning to end. They both made our jobs so easy! Also, with Evan being song writer, it was already determined that a few of the songs he had written, would be in this edit.

Everytime time we capture a wedding at Robinson Ranch, it is such a pleasure. Thanks so much to Nerissa and Josh who allowed us to do what we do best, and to their families who were so much fun. Whenever we are lucky enough to be a part of a cultural wedding that we are not always accustomed too, we embrace it with open arms. That was the experience at Nicole and Eric's wedding. The traditions were so interesting and I always enjoy seeing how different cultures celebrate a joyous day, especially a wedding. It was an amazing wedding and Nicole and Eric made our jobs very easy. In the late months of 2007 I was approached to help shoot a documentary of Angie Everheart climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. On February 24th, at 10pm on HDNet, we will for the first time see how our HD footage looks in it's native format. In this promo piece, you can see just how amazing the footage has turned out, and we are very excited to watch it on the big screen in HD. Unfortunately for me I did not make it to the summit due to altitude sickness, but I was still very much a part of the production. We were shooting in Africa for 3 weeks so even though I was not on the summit, we still shot plenty of footage which you can see in the 1 hour show. Even with the 4 days that I was on the mountain, I found myself quickly realizing that summiting that mountain, would be the hardest thing most people would ever experience in their lives. Thanks to Brian Cavallaro who executive produced this documentary, and to the entire 6 person team who went to Africa to Conquer Kilimanjaro.
