In the late months of 2007 I was approached to help shoot a documentary of Angie Everheart climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. On February 24th, at 10pm on HDNet, we will for the first time see how our HD footage looks in it's native format. In this promo piece, you can see just how amazing the footage has turned out, and we are very excited to watch it on the big screen in HD. Unfortunately for me I did not make it to the summit due to altitude sickness, but I was still very much a part of the production. We were shooting in Africa for 3 weeks so even though I was not on the summit, we still shot plenty of footage which you can see in the 1 hour show. Even with the 4 days that I was on the mountain, I found myself quickly realizing that summiting that mountain, would be the hardest thing most people would ever experience in their lives. Thanks to Brian Cavallaro who executive produced this documentary, and to the entire 6 person team who went to Africa to Conquer Kilimanjaro.
