I couldn't help myself with this one. I lived in
Philadelphia for the first ten years of my life and ever since then; my dad has made sure that we all continued to follow the major
Philadelphia sports teams. Since I can remember, we have never won a championship and after so many years of disappointment, the Phillies (baseball) finally gave us all what we have wanted so badly! Even though I live in LA, I couldn't let a 6 hour plane ride get in the way of a parade that has not happened in Philly for 25 years. The only way this experience would be complete was if I were with my brother and dad. My sister was missing from the group and I know she would have loved it, but flying in from
Israel for a parade may have been a bit over the top :). Anyway, with events like these (much like weddings), it's a once in a lifetime event so I needed to make sure the memories, the sights, and the sounds were all captured. I know that this clip will be watched by us for years and years to come, and I wanted to share it with all of you!

You're still nuts for flying 6 hours, walking 4 miles, and staying for 3 floats of the parade though!
P.S. Have to agree with Stu on the beer can thing...should be part of a mastercard commercial followed by the word PRICELESS!

As soon as it started and I saw all three of you, I had tears in my eyes and was so bummed that I missed out on such a special time. You know I would have loved to be there screaming and yelling with you, Stu and dad. Being in Israel - the 'World' series didn't really make much of an impact here- but I tell you what....I'm going to share this with everyone I know...They'll all be philly fans by the time they're done watching!
